Road Ready Revamp Results

Blackburn Neighbourhood Policing team have spent a number of days carrying out an operation on Highfield Road to address the presence of un roadworthy and unused vehicles. 

All vehicles parked in the area must be roadworthy, registered and hold valid insurance and MOT. Any vehicles that do no meet these requirements have therefore been seized in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. 

Over a space of three days we have seized a total of 8 vehicles from the area of HIGHFIELD ROAD, ECCLES STREET and MAYFIELD STREET. You may have also seen that Highways have attended and re-painted yellows lines. This now means that parking services can enforce tickets where necessary.
